Hell has frozen over, Canadians ask: Cold enough for you, eh?

From Apple switching to an Intel platform, their multi button mouse, Microsoft saying that the office 12 file format may have LGPL compatibility (don't hold your breath, you'll need it) to Intel almost publicly saying that the P4 sucks, what could possibly constitute this frozen place of demonic residence? Tomorrow (monday) in a three way press conference, it has been reported that Palm will be using the Windows Mobile 5.0 platform on their Treo devices. Rumor has it that the specific device that will lead this trend is the Treo 700w.

Fan of PalmOS fear not, from what Palm has said, they will not replace PalmOS, simply use Windows Mobile to compliment it on their devices. Personally, I am happy. I prefer the UI, mainly the "Today screen" that MS employs over the PalmOS UI, again, mainly the main screen. However, I cannot deny the Palm design, much nicer than my current iPaq.
